Lifetime MembersDonation from Friends of the Cougars for New Dressing Room
Todd Diminie - General Manager, Marc Mercier- Team Governor accept cheque from Liz Basinger - Lifetime Member of the Cougars for construction of the Cougars new Dressing Room. The Dressing room consists or gorgeous maple stalls ordered from Pro-Lockers in NY, a State-of-the-Art Skate Sharpening Room, Industrial Laundry Room, Trainers Room, Players Lounge with Kitchenette, 50" TV, Work out bikes, Glove and Skate Dryers and thier own outside entrance. The Dressing Room area includes individual player lockers, showers, washroom facility, 50" TV, State-of-the-Art Sound System, Spotlight over the embedded logo in the flooring and much more. There is a seperate 500 sq ft. Coaches Office adjacent to the Cougars Dressing Room and a beautiful GMs Office located between the two ice surfaces. Lifetime Members On August 2oth 2011, the Friends of the Cougars presented a cheque to the Cobourg Cougars Junior A Hockey Club for construction of their new State-of-the-Art Dressing Room at the Cobourg Community Centre.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of a longtime Cougar Volunteer, John Elinsky. John volunteered with his brother Terry selling 50/50 tickets at the door for many years. John Roger Elinsky - June 7, 1940 - March 28, 2011ELINSKY, John Roger Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Monday March 28th, 2011 in his 71styear. Beloved husband of Wendy Elinsky (nee Tuggey). Loving father of Tana Elinsky and her partner George Hare and Ryan Elinsky. Dear brother of Gloria Kemp, Janice Polin, Pat Wilson, Terry Elinsky and the late Sylvia Travinsky and Harold Elinsky. Remembered by his sister-in-law Joan Ferguson and her husband Fred. Friends are invited to a celebration of John’s life at his home, 327 King St., W., Cobourg on Thursday March 31stfrom 2-7 pm.
